Is the Zoo open on national holidays?

We are open every day: November-January 9-15, March-April and September-October 9-17; June-September 9-19.

Do I need to buy a special ticket to visit the Children`s Zoo?

No, visiting the Children´s Zoo is included in the zoo ticket.

Whom should I contact, if I want to bring an injured animal to the Zoo?

The Zoo accepts only injured birds and reptiles. You should contact our ticket office at the North gate, phone number (+372) 6 943 338. Wild animals are not accepted because of the danger of rabies.

Is it possible to visit the zoo in a wheelchair?

Yes, most of the tracks at our zoo are wheelchair-friendly. Our indoor exhibits (Tropical House and Elephant House) are also wheelchair accessible. In all our toilets (including cafeteria Illu) there is a washroom for guests with disabilities.

You are allowed to walk in the Zoo for 2 hours after the Ticket office is closed.
