Family: Felidae

The most northern subspecies of the leopard cat, inhabiting the Russian Siberian territory. Nocturnal feline that avoids areas, where the snow is thicker than 10 cm as it is harder to catch small gnawers. Skilled climber and can hunt on trees. Pregnancy lasts from 65 to 72 days and the kittens are born in May. Lives up to 15 years.
