Family: Accipitridae

Atypical vulture that prefers bones over meat. Eats bone marrow, pieces of bones, skin and meat pieces that originate from even-toed ungulates, rarely small animals as well. Has 1 to 2 eggs in a nest while only one of them hatches. Offspring reach maturity at 7 years old.
