Striped hyena

Hyaena hyaena

Heimo: Hyeenat (Hyaenidae)

Massive head, strong neck and jaw, declining back and its stripes makes the striped hyena distinctive. Its organism can go through almost anything, even big bones and eats whatever other predators have left behind.

An extremely durable animal that has lived all the way from Britain to China, but is now only found in Southern and Eastern Africa, Middle Asia, Turkey, Caucasus and India. Can endure the height of up to 3300 meters and dry air.
