Events of 2020
This day is dedicated to the Arctic ruler, a top predator adapted to the harsh living conditions of the Arctic continent. We will also talk about environmental issues, because the polar bears are in a very difficult situation due to the global warming and the melting of Arctic ice fields.
- 18.07 Ice Cream Day
How does fish, fruit or insect ice cream taste like? The zoo’s residents will like those. More play and brainstorming are needed to get the regular daily food. The excitement continues for both the animals and the audience.
- 5.08, 12.08, 19.08 Musical Wednesdays
Concerts in cooperation with Pille Lill Music Foundation.
Special venues, curious animals and professional musicians create jointly a memorable experience on the cozy August evenings.
- 25.08 Birthday of the Zoo
Within the birthday hustle and bustle, the focus is traditionally on the education of natural sciences. Entrance with discounted ticket.
- 31.10 Pumpkin Party
End of autumn season with a big pumpkin party. The animals have to figure out, how they can get their food from the pumpkin that day. Visitors are offered pumpkin soup and activities are provided for the whole family.
- 26.12 Santas at the Zoo
Santa brings the joy of Christmas mainly to animals, but also to visitors. Attendance at events is at the price of the zoo ticket. Entrance to the zoo is free of charge for pre-school children.
