Hawk mountain is partially closed – the bearded vultures laid the first egg
Bearded vultures started their nest building in December and laid their fist egg on 30th of January. Both parents guard the nest, changing guards regularly.
Hawk mountain will be partly closed and areas are closed when more birds of prey lay eggs. Birds can react strongly to people and by giving some room for the birds the possibilities of hatching is increased. The area will be completely open for visitors by the end of June.
