Pumpkin party for Zoo animals!

Saturday October 17th is an exciting day for the Zoo animals! Tallinn Zoo celebrates their yearly Pumpkin party again and it means various species get to enjoy pumpkins in their enclosures. Come and see which animals crawls inside the pumpkins, who steps and smashes them and who rolls them around.  

Program starts at 12.00 at the Elephant House. 

12.00 – Elephant house: African elephant, pygmy hippo, black rhinos etc
13.00 – Przewalski’s horses, striped hyenas
13.15 – Japanese macaques
13.30 – Asiatic lions
14.00 – Bear house: polar bear, black bear, Siberian tiger, raccoon dog etc

After 14.00 we will also be serving pumpkin soup for zoo visitors!

Other species get pumpkins too, so there’s lots to see.

Pumpkins have been donated to the Zoo by people, different organizations and companies.

Indoor exhibitions are closed on Mondays. The zoo's territory is open for walking until 8 PM.
