WHAT IS SMARTZOOS?

SmartZoos is an online environment where you can complete exciting discovery trails at Tallinn Zoo. SmartZoos trails await discoverers also at Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki and Skansken Zoo in Stockholm.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

To use SmartZoos, you’ll need a smartphone or a tablet computer. Public WiFi is available at the zoo but it’s convenient to use your mobile Internet. Before starting a game, make sure your phone is fully charged and your GPS is switched on.

HOW DO YOU PLAY?

2.       Select your zoo

3.       Select your trail

4.       Solve different tasks

5.       Gain new knowledge

6.       Enjoy a fun day at the zoo!
You’ll need a ticket to the zoo to access the discovery trails.

The SmartZoos project is part of the European Union’s Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme in the framework of which three zoos -Tallinn Zoo, Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki and Skansen Zoo in Stockholm – in collaboration with Södertörn University and leading partner Tallinn University have set up a series of gamified, yet educational discovery trails. Positioned in the zoo’s WiFi coverage area, all those interested can test their knowledge. More discovery trails will be established, the trails will constantly change and new features will be added.
