From July 10, nature photography exhibition “Wings, Fangs and Shadows: Life in the Indian Wild” by Georg Aher will be presented in the lobby of the Tallinn Zoo Nature Education Center (Ehitajate tee 150).
The photos were taken in March 2024 in four Indian national parks and show Bengal tigers, Indian rhinos, mongooses, sambars and many other fascinating mammals and birds. The photo exhibition will be open to visitors at Tallinn Zoo until the end of October 2025.
Georg Aher is a biologist. He has used his camera to capture plants, mammals, birds and insects both around his home and elsewhere in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Among other works, he has been involved in popularizing nature throughout his life in radio, television and in various educational programs.
