The second floor of the Tallinn Zoo environmental education center contains a library with various literature relevant to the workings of a zoological garden: zoo management, zoology (invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals), and additional subjects including genetics, biological diversity, conservation, environmental protection, zoogeography, ecology, veterinary medicine, hunting, stories about nature, etc.
The literature can be accessed in the reading room, loans are by special request only.

The Tallinn Zoo library can now also be found at ESTER.
